COMMUNITY EVENTS

The Junior Service League of Brazosport hosts a number of events throughout the year.

STUFF THE BUS

Stuff the Bus is a partnership between JSL and our community to collect supplies which help Angleton ISD and Brazosport ISD school nurses and teachers keep students healthy throughout the school year. The focus of our effort is to collect items such as facial tissue, disinfecting wipes(both Clorox and Lysol types), hand sanitizer, adhesive bandages, baby wipes, resealable bags, feminine hygiene items of any size and type, and disposable rubber gloves. These items are needed to keep our students healthy while they learn.

TEDDY BEAR CARNIVAL

A great big THANK YOU to everyone that made it possible – Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church for letting us use your BEAUTIFUL church. And all our fabulous community groups/businesses that provided the entertainment!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for attending this event that benefited BACH this year!!!  Until next year!!.

JUNIOR SERVICE LEAGUE PARK

In partnership with the city of Lake Jackson’s Parks & Recreation, the JSL Parks Committee equips and maintains a city park, Junior Service League Park, located on Yaupon Street, north of Oyster Creek Drive. The committee is responsible for planning and hosting community events held on the park grounds.

LADIES WHO LUNCH

We invite you to join us for our 2023 Annual Event, Ladies Who Lunch. This year’s event will be held at the Dow Academic Center at Brazosport College on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

Our featured guest speaker will be Shannon Whitley, founder of the Taylor Whitley Show Up Foundation. We will also be honoring our 2023 Sustainer of the Year, a sustaining member who exemplifies the organization’s educational and charitable mission.

Over the past fifteen years, JSL has presented over $100,000 in scholarships to students in the Brazosport area. Each year, we present scholarships to women who are returning to school as non-traditional students at Brazosport College. We look forward to another incredible event that will generate the financial support necessary to continue our mission of education and volunteer service.
